The Acropolis Museum announces entrance free of charge for the October 28 national holiday




The Acropolis Museum will be open from 08:00 to 20:00 on 28 October (a national holiday), while admission to the museum will be free of charge.

Visitors will be free to tour the museum’s permanent collections, with the masterpieces of the archaic and classical era, as well as the visiting exhibition “Forbidden City: The imperial apartments of Qianlong” that will run until February 2, 2019.

The museum has also announced a 60-minute presentation, available in Greek, at 11:00, 12:00, 13:00, 17:00, 18:00 and 19:00 and in English at 10:00. Registrations to attend the presentation (up to 25 persons per group) will be made at the museum’s information desk.

The museum’s restaurant will be also open.
