Foreign Minister Nikos Kotzias in Barcelona on Monday for Union for the Mediterranean meeting

Foreign Minister Nikos Kotzias will be in Barcelona on Monday to participate in the 3rd Ministerial Meeting of the Union for the Mediterranean (UfM) Regional Forum. This year’s meeting coincides with celebrations marking the 10th anniversary of the creation of the Union.
The discussions will focus on addressing common challenges faced by Mediterranean countries, as well as on the strengthening of the dialogue aiming towards joint development of the region, with a positive environmental impact and a people-oriented nature.
The 28 EU member states along with 15 southern and eastern Mediterranean countries will participate in this year’s meeting
On the sidelines of the meeting Kotzias will hold a series of bilateral meetings with his counterparts.
