Foreign minister Nikos Kotzias visits Oslo, will have meeting with his Norwegian counterpart




Foreign Minister Nikos Kotzias is visiting the Norwegian capital Oslo at the invitation of Norwegian Foreign Minister Ine Marie Eriksen Soreid, extended during a recent NATO ministers’ meeting.

In the context of his official visit to Norway, the first by a Greek minister since 2011, Kotzias will have a meeting with his Norwegian counterpart on Monday for talks on bilateral relations and expanding cooperation between the two countries. They will also touch on issues of regional and international interest, the future of Europe, EU-Norwegian relations, the situation in the Western Balkans and the migration and refugee crisis.

While in Oslo, Kotzias will speak at the Norwegian Institution of International Relations (NUPI) at 10:00 on Monday morning in a roundtable on the principles of Greece’s foreign policy, especially in SE Europe.
