Provocative statements by FYROM discourage a solutionon the name issue, says Panos Kammenos

Defence Minister Panos Kammenos participated in the Informal Meeting of Defence Ministers held in Vienna on Wednesday.
During the meeting, Kammenos stressed that provocative statements against Greece by FYROM officials discourage a possible solution of the issue. Refereces to a “Macedonian nation” are contrary to all agreements and only succeed in infuriating the Greek people, who will have the final say regardless of the outcome of a referendum and constitutional changes in FYROM.
The European Union’s High Representative for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy, Federica Mogherini, during a working dinner, referred to FYROM’s timetable for membership in the European Union, stressing that the procedures will begin in about a year.
