New Democracy opposition president Kyriakos Mitsotakis starts tour of Eastern Crete

Main opposition New Democracy (ND) leader Kyriakos Mitsotakis started on Thursday a tour in eastern Crete.

Mitsotakis lashed out at the government over its economic policy, stressing that it is only interested in imposing taxes. Moreover, he outlined New Democracy’s plan for more jobs, lower taxes and security for everyone.

He noted the importance of reducing taxes and social security contributions and accused the government of lying when it claimed that Greece will exit the programme.

“It is a big lie. New pension cuts are expected. We have been paying for the government’s mistakes for three years now. We are paying the cost of their lack of credibility,” he underlined.
