New Democracy MEP Eliza Vozemberg asks Commission for more support to fire victims

New Democracy MEP Eliza Vozemberg submitted an urgent question to the European Commission on Wednesday calling for extraordinary measures and initiatives beyond the activation of the European Solidarity Mechanism to address the tragic consequences of the last days’ deadly fires in Attica.
She pointed out that the unprecedented tragedy experienced by Greece in the last few hours requires the consideration of additional assistance measures at a European level to help those affected by the fires so that normality is restored as soon as possible.
