Foreign Minister Nikos Kotzias to attend European Union Council meetings in Luxembourg

Foreign Minister Nikos Kotzias is due to visit Luxembourg for two days, in order to participate in the EU Foreign Affairs Council and the General Affairs Council on Monday and Tuesday.

The meetings on Monday will begin with a working breakfast attended by EU foreign affairs ministers and Albanian Foreign Minister Ditmir Bushati. This will be held on the sidelines of the council, following a proposal made by Greece.
Kotzias will then take part in a discussion of EU foreign and defence ministers on security and defence cooperation, including EU-NATO cooperation, and a review of the implementation of the EU Global Strategy.
The GAC will focus on enlargement, the stabilisation and association process for Western Balkan states and Turkey, migration and the multiannual financial framework.
