US aircraft carrier Harry Truman docks at Souda port

The US aircraft carrier Harry Truman docked at Souda port in Chania, Crete, on Wednesday for refuelling and to provide a leave for its crew.

The US warship will remain at the Souda military base until May 28.
The 90,000-ton carrier can reach a speed of 30 knots and is powered by two nuclear reactors. It is 333m long by 78m wide and 74m high, can carry up to 90 fighter jets, and includes 2,500 cabins that can hold up to 6,500 crew members.
The warship is supplied with stealth technology which makes it invisible to radars.
