New growth plan creates a new course for Greece, assures minister Giorgos Katrougalos

Greece’s growth plan aims at creating a new course for the country after the clean exit from the bailout in August, Alternate Foreign Minister responsible for European affairs, Giorgos Katrougalos, told Athens-Macedonian News Agency in an interview.

“The exit from the memorandum does not mark the return to before 2010, with the known sins of the political system as well as those of the country’s productive model,” said Katrougalos. “We want a new start with democracy but also an economy that will not reduce the value of labor, but depend on it, and will promote the country’s advantages.”

The minister added that “the way we imagine growth is that it includes the roles of labor and workers in its new production model.”
