Prime Minister Alexis Tsipras spoke by phone with the leader of New Democray on Friday to inform him about the course of talks on the FYROM name issue, the Greek premier told parliament.

In regards to the possible names being floated around on the Greek press regarding possible FYROM names, Tsipras said there is no point in discussing any name if the basic conditions set by Greece are not met.
In regards to giving Greeks abroad the ability to vote in national elections, as proposed by New Democracy, Tsipras said that he will agree to this. The children of the brain drain have the right to vote in the country they live in, said the prime minister. He was talking just before the parliament plenum decided, by secret ballot, on the ruling regarding the Novartis case.

The parliament decided on whether to prosecute former Prime Ministers Antonis Samaras and Panagiotis Pikrammenos and former ministers Dimitris Avramopoulos, Andreas Loverdos, Andreas Lykourentzos, Marios Salmas, Spyridon-Adonis Georgiadis, Yannis Stournaras, Evangelos Venizelos, Georgios Koutroumanis for the offense of bribing political officers, passive bribery and money laundering.
