Antonis Samaras files lawsuit against Alexis Tsipras: PM’s press office reacts

Former Prime Minister Antonis Samaras on Thursday filed a lawsuit against Prime Minister Alexis Tsipras for the involvement of Samaras’ name in Novartis case investigation.

Samaras accused Tsipras of being personally responsible for a “sordid conspiracy” that was being set up, while noting that this was “cobbled together so badly that it is collapsing on its own.”

He also noted that the government had rushed to bring the Novartis case to the forefront one day after the very large protest over FYROM name issue in Athens. “Those who want to terrorise justice will be held accountable,” Samaras said, stressing that he will pursue the matter to the very end and that “they will not get away with it.”
