Government spokesman: PM was crystal clear, elections will be held in 2019

General elections will be held in 2019, State Minister and government spokesman Dimitris Tzanakopoulos reiterated in an interview to Real FM radio, noting that Prime Minister Alexis Tsipras was crystal clear on the date of the elections.
The government has proven that it takes society-sensitive initiatives that are not related to any election strategy.
“We are trying to support those who are in real need,” Tzanakopoulos underlined, adding that “we want a strong social state that we are trying to finance with the greatest possible funding, and this is at the core of our policy.”
