Interior Minister Skourletis: We will seek a solution that will include the debt

Interior Minister Panos Skourletis expressed the opinion that “in Greece’s case, the effort of some extreme circles to impose a different model in Europe is now evident” in an interview on Monday with Athens Macedonian News Agency.
On the occasion of German Finance Minister Wolfgang Schaeuble’s aggressive statements, Skourletis noted that some forces appear to have different plans for Europe’s future.
“We will try to find a solution that will include the Greek debt” he said referring to the imminent Eurogroup meeting. “We know what we want and based on this we will move and we will go, if needed, to the EU Summit”.
Asked if it is necessary the political leaders to meet in order to agree on a national line on the debt, he said that it is an institutional procedure “which we should seek in some cases and when the appropriate conditions have been formed”.
