EWG gives green light for disbursement of 7.5 bln euro loan tranche

The Euro Working Group (EWG) gave the green light to European parliaments to go ahead with the disbursement of the 7.5 billion euro loan tranche, according to government sources.
The European Stability Mechanism (ESM), that will convene on June 16, is expected to give the final approval for the conclusion of the program review. The same sources said that the money will have been transferred to the Greek coffers soon after and before the British referendum on July 23.
Greek diplomatic sources also confirmed in statements to ANA-MPA that the Euro Working Group that convened on Thursday in Helsinki concluded the first programme review and gave the green light for the disbursement of the 7.5 billion euro loan tranche.
