Turmoil prevailed on Saturday in Korydallos prison: Ιnmates from section A and D took the keys

Turmoil prevailed on Saturday in Korydallos prison due to the transfer of an inmate to the prison of Larissa.

According to sources, inmates from section A and D took the keys from the guards and occupied the area.

The Justice Ministry confirmed that there is ‘an issue’ in Korydallos without giving more information.

Currently, a Ministry representative has arrived at Korydallos to be briefed and participate in the negotiations with the protesting inmates.

The ministry underlined that all the keys of the cells are in the guards’ possession.
