The agreement achieved at the Eurogroup meeting on Thursday is both good and real, government spokesman Dimitris Tzanakopoulos said in an interview with Alpha TV station on Friday.
“The agreement we got yesterday is both good and real. It is an agreement that gives a clear signal to the markets that Greece is in the right direction to finally stabilize,” he said.
Asked to comment on Greece’s spreads today, he said there cannot be great changes in two hours and that they will keep declining in the coming days. Tzanakopoulos also said the negotiating procedure will produce results in due time and will have a positive conclusion for the country.
